IRONMEN is the ministry for men at Peachtree Presbyterian Church. It has nothing to do with triathlons, but gets its name from Proverbs 27:17: "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." We believe the healthiest, happiest men are those who are in a vital relationship with Jesus, and with other men.
We have a very simple purpose at IRONMEN – To encourage and equip men to become a positive impact for Jesus, at home, at work, and in the community. God’s Word clearly demonstrates that He did not intend for us to live independently, but interdependently by connecting with one another. Our hearts confirm this need for us to encourage one another and to challenge one another.
IRONMEN meets on Tuesday mornings from 6:45 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. We meet in the Canyon Room (ground floor) of the Lodge; parking is conveniently found in the deck behind the Lodge, which is at 3417 Roswell Road. Many men come early and get a coffee or other beverage, and something to eat in the Lodge Café.
The format is a 20-minute talk that begins just after 7:00, and is followed by small group discussions which are facilitated by trained table leaders. The lessons incorporate Scripture with real life applications, making it relevant to men wherever they may be in their faith journey. It is real men, talking about real issues, and looking for Biblical solutions. If you have any questions, or if we can assist you in any way, please call Chuck Roberts at 404-842-5883, or Steve Cesari at 404-803-0748 (cell).
